The weather can be quite chilly in December so you will need to wear and bring warm clothes, however, on some days it can be mild and warm.

How you dress also depends on where you go. When in public it's always best to be conservative even though it's really not required, no short skirts, no short sleeves and no obvious necklines will be sufficient, though like I say it's really not required strictly it's just a matter of showing respect for the culture when in public.

That said there are some discos and bars in hotels where you can wear "less conservative" clothing and won't feel weird because short skirts can be the norm, when inside, though also not without attention (although this is the case in any disco around the world).

I guess in the end you don't have to worry about clothing too much!

wear anything you like, within reason of course.. but normal western wear is fine.. The muslim women who are more concervative will wear the traditional abaya (black cloak and scarf) but some more worldy muslim women just wear normal decent convervative slacks, or long skirts with a blazer or long shirt and just a scarf.. Western woman wear whatever they please.. slacks, normal dresses, (knee length). I rarely though see people wearing mini skirts or short shorts out in public.. but yes on the odd occation I have (but you would be thought of as an easy woman if you do).. Just dress normally..

Winters here are mild.. hardly any rain, maybe 1 day of heavy rain, and a few odd days of sprinkles, but not bad.. The weather is between 50F up to 80F on any given day in our winters.. we have cool days and warmer days. but its normally mild with light breezes.. There is an odd day that it can get real cold.. down towards freezing, but this is rare..

the locals though. you'd think they are in Alaska.. they wear fuzzy scarved around their necks, hats, earmuffs, boots, wooly jackets, gloves.. .. I guess its what your body is aclimitized too.. Id think a normal light jacket, some nice thick closed toed shoes.. good socks, layered shirts, sweaters, etc (so if you do get hot, you can unlayer) is a good choice for our weather. the sun is always bright, bring a good pair of sunglasses..

Cover your shoulders and keep the skirt on your knees (or lower if you feel like it) when in the villages or during Ramadan. Anything that is appropriate for a working environment in a bank ( for example) is just fine. People do sometimes go around looking like they have just come off the beach but I think that it is disrespectful. anywhere ,leave alone in a Muslim country. You will love it here by the way. And you will find every high street shop you are used to buying from.

Try maxi dresses with the side slits those will look great you! No matter whether you have long legs or not only strut that skirt

I think that skirts tend to either look kind of trashy or cheap if they are tight and short, or these are just the ordinary jean skirts that aren't necessarily sexy.
